Award Grant For Five Years
The award of an annual grant for five years has allowed the recruitment of a fully qualified Head Teacher and also a qualified teacher at Kpandai Girls Academy.
- In March 2010 the Trustees awarded a grant for five years, which provided the funding to recruit a qualified Head Teacher and a Teacher.
- The award, from a recognised Trust Fund, not only will pay the salaries but will provide the job security necessary to attract qualified staff to Northern Ghana, where there is a shortage.
- It will also assist the development of the three teachers currently employed, and this will be to the benefit of the existing pupils and those in the two new classes which can now be enrolled in September 2010.
